as i've stated in previous posts, painting has been kicking my bum but today i kicked back and finished one of the four paintings for my final project. anyways, since a friend asked to see it, i figured it would be easier to post it up here plus this would let all my new cool dreamwidth peeps see exactly what i can do (which sadly isn't much but ah well). anyways, check it out!

note: yes i know that my reproduction is not a perfect reproduction but trust me, as fed up as i am with this painting (this was my 2nd attempt, the 1st is even worse), this is as good as it's gonna get. besides, it shouldn't be a perfect reproduction because that would be an insult to the artist and i could get in big trouble.

anyways, the project also entails that i create 3 consecutive paintings inspired by my mentor artists so the third is what i am currently working on. i'll probably have to scratch it and start over because i'm painting in my style and not jenny's. hopefully it'll work out.
i've got my 2nd painting planned however- that is my subject! guess what it is!

okay, figured i'd also share another painting i've done for my painting class just because this is about sharing my passion! and yes, i know i'm obsessed but can you really blame me? the man is gorgeous as soooo much fun to paint.
